From October 2 to October 8, 2025, the School of Economics and Management (SEM) of Beihang University formed a delegation to visit Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) in Spain and University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil for exchange activities. The delegation, led by Professor Fan Ying (Dean of SEM), comprised 5 department heads and faculty members.
During the visit, the delegation conducted in-depth academic exchanges with the two universities focusing on four key areas: digital innovation, fintech, big data management, and energy and environmental economics. Meanwhile, both parties discussed cooperation directions including student exchange programs, joint dual-degree cultivation, faculty exchange, and joint research activities, further expanding the scope of cooperation. This visit has been officially approved as part of Beihang University's 2025 "Global Partner Development Program of the School" and serves as a key initiative for SEM to advance international cooperation.
